We're in the midst of New York Fashion Week, a tradition dating back to the 1940s. But now with social media and the Internet taking over, is it still relevant?
I recently produced an interview for CNBC with designer Rebecca Minkoff and her brother, Uri Minkoff who is the co-founder and CEO of her brand.
She says while the tradition is changing with the times, its still relevant.
"Fashion week "used to be open to a very small closed circle of editors and buyers and we've seen a huge dramatic shift. We decided to open up our show to the consumer," Rebecca Minkoff, the creative director for her own line, told CNBCs "On the Money.""
The idea to include consumers came from the fact that with the Internet they could see things live, instead of waiting for media coverage.

In addition to giving customers access to the shows, the Minkoffs have most of their collection ready for purchase right away, its called "See ow, Buy Now." That includes shoes!
Traditionally, designer collections took 6 months to appear on shelves after being shown.
That lag gives fast fashion time to copy styles, which while nice for those on a budget, hurts designers.
If you think fashion week is just about clothing, think again. The designers also set the stage for the big shoe trends.
It seems like sneakers are not going anywhere. Jonathan Simkhai paired Reeboks with a jumpsuit and Public School and Air Jordan revealed a new collection, according to Footwear News. The sneakers were shown covered in plastic bag.
Other designers use NYFW as a time to announce shoe collections, such as Cushnie et Ochs, according to Footwear News. The shoes are sexy with a fun side

ReplyDeleteValerie Houghton and Hillary Applegate are maniacal in their sex trafficking demands. This is because they do not ever expect there to be legal consequences for extreme actions. Reporting illegal hacking and violence to law enforcement does not deter them. They fear nothing.

The Houghton’s have signed up my google account up for Google Workspace. This is a paid service. Although a report was made regarding this, the Google Workspace logo still loads every time I check my email.
They are just CRAZY. I don’t know any other way to explain it. They want my kids to raped and they are willing to do anything to make it happen, including resorting to violence.

I don’t know if she is on something, but she clearly has no inhibitions. Ms. Houghton talks openly about her views of pedophilia and her homicidal ideations directed at me. This the mark of someone that is extremely dangerous.
If the Houghton’s are involved in your case, find a way to disappear before they kill you.

What kind of a person is she? Who behaves in such a violent and unhinged manner?

The worst part is that the District Attorney of Santa Clara County (Jeff Rosen) supports her. He will not prosecute any of the Houghton’s for their activities. In fact, if you complain, it will be you that he prosecutes.
In my case, he filed charges, then allowed the Houghton’s to assault me in an attempt to influence the proceedings.
The Houghton’s are like kings in Santa Clara County. The district attorney indulges any thought that pops into their head. Just ask Clyde Berg.

These are terrible, terrible people to do this to man that just wanted his money back. Berg spent over $3,000,000 just on legal fees to fight the charges. The D.A. wouldn’t budge on it. He won’t budge on my case either.
Rosen knows all about the sexual abuse of my kids and the great bodily harm that Valerie Houghton and her daughter have caused me. He also knows that Ms. Houghton has now resorted to threatening to kill my kids.

ReplyDeleteJust see what Hillary Applegate and Valerie Houghton did to Daya Baran after he discovered that someone was molesting his toddler daughter. The pigmentation in his face was damaged and he became a diabetic when he tried to stop the abuse.

Valerie Houghton shared a post on her personal blog discussing sexual assaults and described the rate of reporting as "abysmal." This post was made two months after I informed her that my ex-wife was allowing a man to sexually assault my 13-year-old son.
ReplyDeleteMs. Houghton poses the question, "Could the rate of discipline be relevant to victims reporting?"
She further states that her post was "created by workplace answers."
Additionally, Ms. Houghton included the hashtag: "Audrie Pott’s Suicide." Audrie Pott was a 15-year-old who was sexually assaulted in Santa Clara County and subsequently took her own life following the incident.
Valerie Houghton consistently seeks to make her actions known. This is not a mere coincidence.
My son has been suicidal since the assaults commenced. He has endured significant trauma.
It is evident that Valerie Houghton was ridiculing both me and my son. She is undoubtedly the most despicable individual I have ever encountered.

Although I believe that Ms. Houghton is simply expressing her sexual views on children, I just think that she should recognize that she needs professional help. These views are not normal.

Then, when she forced my youngest daughter to be under the legal custody of a man that previously drugged and raped a teen – Ms. Houghton said, “She’ll have fun!” She also said, “She’ll be pregnant by the time that she’s 15.”
My youngest son was just two when he was being molested. Even this did not bother Valerie Houghton.
In the Clyde Berg case, the prosecution that Valerie Houghton orchestrated against him involved a woman that was 9 months pregnant. That in itself could be construed an act of pedophilia. Only Houghton could have these sick thoughts.

Now Ms. Houghton is sex trafficking my youngest daughter that I share with another mother. She thinks that if she does this, it will absolve her of forcing the other 4 kids into sexual bondage.

It’s all smoke and mirrors. Valerie Houghton is not capable of doing anything good for anyone. Once you hire her, she views you and your children as slaves.
Houghton told me that I was expected to “work in the salt mines” and referred to my kids as “ATM machines.”
When it came to asking for money, she would just make up numbers. I only got an invoice once or twice.
Even so, it was her duty to do something to protect my kids. All she did was use the information to blackmail my ex and get $80,000 of gold coins placed into trust.
I should have never told Ms. Houghton that my kids were being sexually abused. It was game over after that. Her objectives are to create chaos and prolong proceedings. She is always looking for information to control the parties.

But Ms. Houghton has no conscious. She is completely devoid of any empathy.
Her empathy is replaced by sadistic need to make other people suffer. Each time she does something harmful, Houghton will post a sarcastic admission on social media. She just can’t help herself.
By the time that you notice what is happening, it will be too late. Valerie will have already embedded herself into your life. It will also be hard to accept because her actions are so abnormal.

There are simply no rules that govern Ms. Houghton’s behavior. She only uses her knowledge to harm you.
Houghton used to be a nurse and specialized in medical malpractice. She also worked as a hospice nurse for terminal patients before starting a career in Family Court.
