Linsanity: The Sneakers Knicks Basketball Star Jeremy Lin Wears

Knicks’s point guard Jeremy Lin has skyrocketed to international attention. Now people want to know more about the previously unknown Ivy League graduate. Of course, I wanted to know more about his shoes of choice.

According to a recently released Nike video, Lin’s favorite sneakers for hanging out are the Nike Airforce 1. You can purchase your own pair for $59.98 at Finish Line.  His favorite basketball sneakers are the now discontinued Nike Shox BB4. Lin is currently sponsored by Nike.

Now, rumors are circulating the Lin will get his own Nike Sneaker. According to Mark J. Miller of brandchannel Nike will be releasing the Nike Hyperfuse 2011 Linsanity PE which will feature the Knicks blue and orange colors and the word Lin on the heel.  

However, Michael Billera of the International Business Report said that the sneakers will not actually be produced. He believes that while Lin may get shoes in the future they will not be in a store near shoe soon. The rumors may have started because Lin currently wears the black and white editions of the Hyperfuse 2011.
